Marketing as a Service FAQs

About Marketing as a Service

Marketing as a Service, or MAAS, gives you an ongoing marketing team for a monthly fee. Depending on your plan, we can help with your message, website, search visibility, advertising, lead follow-up, and reporting.

Instead of hiring several employees or managing several vendors, you get one team working from one clear plan.

MAAS is designed for growing service businesses that need a stronger website and a more consistent way to attract and follow up with leads. It is a good fit if you want an experienced team to plan and carry out the work with you.

MAAS may not be the best fit if you only need a one-time project or highly custom campaigns or services. In that case, our Custom Shop may be a better option.

MAAS is a set of monthly plans built around a proven marketing system. It is a good choice when you want clear services, predictable pricing, and ongoing support.

Custom Shop is for businesses that need a plan built around special goals, a larger advertising budget, or work outside the MAAS plans. We will help you choose the right option.

We handle the initial strategy and the marketing work included in your plan. This may include writing, website updates, campaigns, tracking, and ongoing improvements.

You will still provide business information, account access, feedback, and approvals. You may also need to provide photos or complete a compliance review. We keep the process simple and tell you what we need at each step.

You will work with an EVANCED team that may include a strategist, writer, designer, website specialist, advertising specialist, and project manager. Each person focuses on a different part of your marketing.

At the start, we will explain who handles each part, where to send questions, and how often we will meet with you.

Often, yes. We can work with your staff, web developer, branding partner, compliance team, or other trusted vendors.

We will review who is doing what and agree on clear roles. This helps prevent repeated work, missed steps, and mixed messages.

Plans, Pricing, and Advertising Budget

Foundations gives you the main pieces needed for a professional online presence. Growth Mode adds stronger search support, lead tracking, appointment booking, and more advertising options. Full Throttle adds a lead funnel, automated follow-up, full CRM access, AI tools, and monthly blog content.

Each higher plan includes the services in the plans below it. Please review the plan comparison for the exact features in each plan.

We begin with your goals, budget, current website, team, and past marketing results. We also look at your market, competition, and how quickly you want to grow.

Then we recommend the plan that gives you what you need without paying for tools you are not ready to use.

No. Your monthly MAAS fee covers the services listed in your plan. Your advertising budget is separate and is paid to platforms such as Google or Facebook.

You choose the amount you are comfortable spending. We manage that budget and show you how it is being used.

There is no single budget that is right for every business. The amount depends on your location, competition, services, goals, and the number of people searching for what you offer.

We will research your market and recommend a starting budget. You approve the amount before we launch any ads.

Yes. You can start with the plan that fits your needs and move to a higher plan as your business grows.

Before you upgrade, we will explain the new monthly price, any added setup work, and whether an added startup fee applies.

Larger advertising budgets require more planning, testing, and management. If your monthly ad spend goes above $2,000, we may recommend moving the advertising work to a Custom Shop agreement.

We will review the new scope and price with you before making any change.

Your proposal will list your monthly fee, startup fee, and included services. Advertising spend is separate. Extra pages, added services, premium third-party tools, or work outside your plan may also cost more.

We will explain and get your approval for any added cost before the work begins.

Getting Started and Results

Most clients complete onboarding in about 30 days. During that time, we gather information, clarify your message, collect account access, and plan the work.

Your full launch date depends on your plan, website size, compliance needs, and how quickly we receive feedback and content. We will give you a clear schedule at the start.

Generally, we can launch your website 4 weeks after you approve website copy.

In most cases, you won’t be waiting on us.

We will need your knowledge of the business, feedback, approvals, photos, and access to the accounts we will manage. If your industry requires compliance review, your team will also need to handle that process.

You do not need to understand the technical work. We will give you a clear list and guide you through each request.

Some improvements may appear soon after launch, but steady growth takes time. Paid ads can often create traffic and leads faster. Search engine optimization, or SEO, may take several months to build momentum.

We will track early signs of progress and explain what they mean. Then we will improve the plan based on real results.

Essentially, the tier you choose and the amount you spend in ads will impact the velocity of your results.  Smaller budgets take longer to produce results.

No marketing company can honestly promise a set number of leads or sales. Results depend on your market, offer, budget, competition, timing, and how quickly your team follows up.

We can promise a clear plan, careful tracking, ongoing improvements, and honest reporting. If something is not working, we will explain what we see and recommend a change.

We track useful actions such as calls, forms, booked appointments, website visits, and ad results. We also review the quality of the leads, not just the total number.

Your reports will show where leads came from and how people responded. We use that information to improve your marketing over time.

You’ll also see the impact in website traffic via reporting.

We use clear messaging, focused ads, location settings, forms, and follow-up questions to attract and screen potential clients. This can reduce the number of people who are not a good fit.

We also send lead quality data back to the providers, so that they can optimize towards sending better leads.

No system can filter every poor-fit lead. We will review lead quality with you and make changes when we find a pattern.

Website and SEO

We will review your current website before making a recommendation, but most of the time, MaaS includes a new website based on our standards and best practices.

Yes. We build MAAS websites in WordPress and host them with WP Engine, a managed WordPress hosting provider.

WordPress is a widely used website system that allows your site to grow and change over time.

Yes. You will have access to your website and can make edits. We can also handle the monthly website updates included in your plan.

If your team wants to edit the site, we can explain the best way to make changes without affecting its design or performance.

The standard MAAS website includes up to 15 pages. If your site has more, we will review which pages should be kept, combined, improved, or removed.

Extra pages may be added for an additional fee, or we may recommend a Custom Shop scope. We will give you the options before work begins.

We take steps to protect the search visibility you already have. We match important pages from the old website to the new one and send visitors to the correct new page.

We also preserve useful page information and check for problems before and after launch. Rankings can change during any website move, but careful planning reduces the risk.

In most cases, ranking improve out after launching the new website.

SEO means improving your website so the right people can find it through search engines such as Google. At launch, we review your site structure, search terms, page content, technical health, and current search visibility.

We use that research to build or improve the website and help Google understand each important page.

After launch, we monitor the website and make improvements based on your plan. This may include updating pages, fixing technical issues, improving local visibility, tracking competitors, and creating new content.

SEO is ongoing because your market, competitors, and Google search results continue to change.

The amount of SEO work done each month depends on your MaaS Tier.

Yes. You own your website and the original content we create for you, subject to the terms in your agreement. You also keep your business and lead data.

If you leave after the agreed term, we will help transfer your website. If you leave early, a prorated website buyout may apply.

Advertising and Lead Generation

We start by learning who you want to reach, where they are located, and what you want them to do. We also review search demand, competition, past results, and your budget.

Then we recommend the channels most likely to reach the right people. These may include Google, Facebook, YouTube, email, or SEO. You do not need to choose the platforms on your own.

For MAAS, we normally create a Google Ads account for your campaigns (if you don’t have one) and make you the billing administrator. This gives you visibility into billing and campaign activity.

Custom Shop arrangements may use an existing client account. We will explain the account setup before the campaigns begin.

Growth Mode and Full Throttle include management of up to five campaigns or Ad Group. A campaign is one organized group of ads with its own goal, audience, or channel.

For example, a Google search campaign and a separate campaign for past website visitors would count as two campaigns. Advertising spend is separate from your monthly fee.

A funnel is a simple path that helps turn a website visitor into a lead. It gives the visitor a clear next step and follows up after they show interest.

Your funnel may include a helpful guide or video, a landing page, a form, a series of follow-up emails, and tracking. We will work with you to create the expert information used in the guide or video.

We connect tracking tools to your website, ads, forms, and appointment calendar. This helps us see which marketing activity led to a call, form, or booking.

Tracking is not perfect, but it gives us useful information about what is working. We use that information to guide future decisions.

We can use focused ads, clear service descriptions, location settings, and questions on forms to help screen leads. Your funnel can also ask people to choose a service or share basic details before booking.

We will adjust these steps based on the quality of the leads you receive.

CRM and Marketing Automation

The EVANCED Marketing Platform (EMP) helps you collect, organize, and follow up with new leads. It can include forms, landing pages, appointment booking, email follow-up, text messages, and lead tracking.

The tools and level of access included depend on your MAAS plan.

Marketing automation helps you respond to leads without doing every task by hand.

For example, it can send an email after someone fills out a form, remind the person to book a call, and alert your team about the new lead. You can still step in and respond personally at any time.

Not always. The EVANCED platform is designed to capture and follow up with new leads. Your main customer relationship management system, or CRM, may still hold client records and support your daily business.

We will review your current tools and explain what can connect, what should stay separate, and how information can move between them.

It can connect with many common websites, calendars, forms, advertising platforms, and business tools. The exact options depend on the systems you use and the access they allow.

We will review your tools before promising a connection. Some custom connections may require extra work or an added fee.

You own your business and lead data. We use it only to provide and improve the services you have approved.

If you leave EVANCED, we will help you export the data covered by your agreement upon request.

These tools can answer common questions, collect contact information, respond to new leads, and help people book appointments. They use information approved for your business.

AI tools support your team. They do not replace your judgment or every personal conversation. We will explain where each tool is used and what it can send or say.

Agreements, Ownership, and Compliance

We prepare website copy, ads, emails, and other marketing content for you to submit to compliance when required. You stay in control of what is reviewed and approved.

If compliance requests changes, we will revise the material. The time needed for compliance review may affect the launch schedule.

Marketing works best when there is enough time to launch, gather information, and improve the plan. Your exact agreement term and renewal rules will be listed in your proposal and agreement.

We will review the commitment with you before you sign.

The MaaS agreement is usually a two year agreement with a 60 day cancelation notice.

Your agreement will explain the early-cancellation process and any amount that may still be due. A prorated website buyout may also apply if you leave before the agreed term.

We will review these terms with you before you sign so there are no surprises.

Basically, if you love the work we did and want to take it with you, you can buy a prorated fee.

With the prorated buyout, we will help you transfer the website, original content, and business data covered by your agreement. We will also explain what happens to connected accounts and third-party tools.

Some software access may end because it is part of your MAAS subscription. Before the service ends, we will provide a clear list of what transfers, what must be exported, and what will no longer be available.
